A little bit about me

Hey, I'm Emily

That's me and my dog! And if you are wondering if you should bring your dog to your shoot, I say YES! Dog loving aside, I also love to hike, climb. I love spending time exploring new places.

I'm here to capture you and your loved ones pure joy, love, and spirit.

Where it all started

I have always had a passion for photography. When I was about 8 years old I got my first ever camera. It was a red canon point and shoot and I took it with me everywhere.

In May 2020, when I was 17, I bought my first 'real' camera, and started to learn how to use it. In August of 2020 I put together my website, set up my business, and I reached out to lots of friends and family to see if they would be willing to let me practice shooting so that I could build my portfolio. I then used these images to help promote my business and book clients.

After that, I started booking sessions all fall in my family's apple orchard. I mostly photographed families and couples, and it went really well.

Now I am still booking sessions. Whether it be families, graduates, proms, couples, headshots, and others. Between September - April, I am based in Lennoxville QC studying Environmental Studies at Bishop's University.

At Bishop's I work for The Campus newspaper as the photographer, and for the recruitment office as a student ambassador.
